Google celebrates Robert Doisneau Birthday who was a famous French photographer by contributing it as Google Doodle on 14 April 2012.
About Robert Doisneau:
Robert Doisneau was born on 14th April 1912. He became a famous photographer in 1930’s. He is also known for his famous image named Le baiser de l’hôtel de ville (Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville), which he took in 1950. This became one of his most famous image, in this image a couple were kissing in busy streets of paris which later became well known symbol of young loves in paris.
He has also done some post war photography in 1946 during the Second World War. He got many rewards which includes the Balzac Prize in 1986 (Honoré de Balzac), the Kodak Prize in 1947, the Niépce Prize in 1956 (Nicéphore Niépce), the Grand Prix National de la Photographie in 1983.
Finally he died on 1 April 1994 in Paris.
