Who was Ludwig Mies van der Rohe?
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was a great architect born on 27 March 1886, he was widely known as MIES ( his surname). He has created many great architect designs which were pillars in history of architectures. His great architectures were as good as representations to classical and gothic did in their own eras. He was more known for his “Skin and bones” architecture. His rational approach was the guide to creative and new architectural designs.
Mies has created many unique designs which includes Farnsworth House, 860-880 Lake Shore Drive, Seagram Building, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, National Gallery, Berlin and many more. As a tribute to his work Google has replaced its logo [firmly known as Google Doodle] with work of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe on his birthday i.e. 27 March 2012
